Do I have to wear lingerie?
A: Not at all! Wear what you feel comfortable in. Robes and kimonos, button-down shirts, lacy intimate sets, sporty looks, cozy sets, body suits + hats, and jeans + bralette looks are all fantastic options. Use your session to express your true self in a way that makes you happy.
What do I do with my boudoir images once I have them?
We have digital files, heirloom albums, professional prints, and more available. If you want to turn your images into a gift, please let me know, and we can find a display option to knock your partner off their feet! You can always book the experience, save the digital files, and decide later.
When can I expect my images?
Your digital images will be ready in 5-10 days, and professional products are typically delivered in 4-6 weeks. (Please let me know if you need a gift by a specific date when you book your session.)
Can I change my hair, makeup, and outfits during the session?
Absolutely! To make the most of your time, have an idea of the styles you want to try beforehand. You can even share a Pinterest board with me so I understand your style and vision.
What if I don’t know how to pose?
No worries at all—I don’t expect you to. I will provide expert guidance from beginning to end so you feel confident. You will feel like a professional model by the end of the session!
What is your signature style?
Most of my boudoir photography is shot in a natural light setting with a soft, dreamy look for elegant, tasteful, and timeless portraits.
Who will be at the session?
Other than your female hair & makeup artist before the session, this is a completely private and comfortable experience with me—Ting Yi. My quiet, lakefront studio is a safe space for you to explore your creativity, embrace your beauty, and express your truest self. We have an all-female boudoir team, and I do all image editing and retouching.
Do you book sessions on weekdays?
Absolutely! One of the many perks of having a private studio is booking flexibility. I would love for you to join me at the studio Mon-Fri with select weekend dates available.

Can I have a sneak peek before my reveal?
We know how exciting it is to see your portraits, and we love that you’re eager! To give you the full, intentional experience, we don’t offer sneak peeks. Your portrait reveal is designed to be a powerful moment where you see your images for the very first time—fully edited and beautifully presented. Trust us, it’s worth the wait.
What happens during the portrait reveal session?
This is one of the most special parts of your experience. During your reveal, you’ll view your fully edited portraits in a private, guided session. We’ll help you select your favorite images and walk you through our collections, artwork, and product options. It’s a relaxed, supportive space where you get to celebrate yourself and choose what you love most.
When does the viewing take place?
Your portrait reveal session typically takes place shortly after your shoot—usually within a few days to a week, depending on scheduling. We’ll confirm the exact timing with you in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
How will I receive my final portraits?
Each portrait is professionally finished by our artists and brought to life through our handcrafted products when you choose printed artwork. We offer a curated collection designed with care and intention, including our signature fine art albums and other luxury pieces. Digital portraits are delivered via email, and all physical products are carefully packaged and shipped directly to the address of your choice.
How long does the session typically take?
Most sessions last about an hour to an hour and a half. This gives us plenty of time to guide you through posing, create a variety of looks, and ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully taken care of throughout the entire experience.
How long do I have to make a decision about purchasing portraits?
All ordering decisions are made during your portrait reveal session. This allows us to guide you, answer questions, and ensure you’re selecting exactly what you love. We do not offer online galleries for later viewing, so we encourage you to come prepared to choose your favorites.
Can I pay for my collection with a payment plan?
Yes! We offer flexible payment options to make your experience feel comfortable and stress-free. We accept all major credit cards and offer third-party financing options like Affirm and Klarna, allowing you to break your purchase into manageable payments.
Can I order additional portraits at a later time?
Because of the custom nature of our work, all image selections and orders are finalized during your reveal session. Additional purchases may be available after 30 days, but availability is not guaranteed—so we highly encourage you to select everything you love during your appointment.
What is your rescheduling policy?
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule your portrait reveal, please notify us at least 12 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made within 12 hours may be subject to a fee. This policy allows us to protect our time and ensure availability for all of our clients.
Can I have someone with me during my reveal session?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to have a supportive friend, partner, or loved one join you during your Zoom reveal. We simply ask that it’s someone who will uplift and encourage you—this experience is all about celebrating you.
How long will my portraits last?
Our products are custom-made using the highest quality materials and are warrantied for life—so you can enjoy and cherish your portraits for years to come.
Will I be able to see the prices before I make a purchase?
Absolutely. Every client receives a prep guide prior to their session that includes detailed information about our pricing, products, and process. During your reveal, we will also walk you through all pricing options so you feel confident and informed in your decisions.
